Points to remember before rolling out your Facebook Ads

The whole world is going online over the years and that too at a very fast pace. Social media is catching up with every other media channel and spreading like epidemics. From the toddler to the retired heart, I would say – most of them are ‘ Facebookians’. Such is the potential of Facebook in the current time.  The reach of Facebook is unimaginable.

Then what about Facebook advertisement? We can understand that the social media channels are provide a perfect platform for online advertisements.  Facebook, being widely used round the globe by millions, becomes a brilliant and ideal platform to rollout your advertisements. Your Facebook ads take you to the prospective customers instantly and if placed aptly, it can go viral!

Obviously, there are some points to remember before rolling out our Facebook ads. The most important thing is to identify your customers correctly and analyzing ways to make an effective advertisement for your target audience.

Inspire impulsive action – You should always keep this in mind that people want to connect with their friends and peers through Facebook, which is its primary function. This is the most interesting aspect of Facebook and if you need to attract them away from socializing and click on your ad, it should be very appealing.  You shouldn’t give them time to think whether to click on your ad and see what you have for them.  You should have the right strategy for developing your Facebook which would call for instant action. The easy way to attract people to your ad is to implant an imposing image which would make users to impulsively click on it. If it is accompanied by a catchy caption, I would say – Way to go!

Target audience – The first and foremost thing, as I mentioned earlier, is to identify your users or audience.  Without this, whatever you do will go without effect.  If you can fix them, you can make your value propositions to them as you know what their expectations are and what they actually need.  Here you can take the role of an advisor and give solutions to a problem which they anticipate.  You can even display discounts, special offers, free trials etc. which would make your target audience instantly try your products out.

 

Before Rolling out your Facebook Ad…

If you are stepping into your first Facebook advertisement, consider these points also.

Set accurate goals – When you develop your FB ad, you should know your aim in creating such an ad.  Was that just for making your product/brand go social and reach maximum number of Facebookians? Was it aimed at boosting your sales?  If you don’t have an idea about this, you are wasting your time making your FB ad. So know why you are making an ad before you start with it.

Go economical – Know your budget before spending huge amount of money on your maiden attempt.  Try small ones that go for short timeframes as starters and if they go well, you can go for bigger ones.

The click-through rates – Be aware of the click through rates. This is an indicator of your users’ interest or indifference to your advertisement over the time.  Depending on the success of your ad, it can be paused or even reactivated at any time.

Follow the results – If you keenly follow the metrics of Clicks, Impressions, Click-through Rate, Actions, Conversions, Cost-Per-Conversion etc. you can definitely know the results which your ads created among the Facebook audience.

Remember, the world is ever-changing… so is Facebook.  It is always after innovation and customization.  One day or the other, your carefully planned advertisement will reap great harvests for you.  Have patience….
